    Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2017

    The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

    Topping the list for the Metrolinx was President and Chief Executive Officer / Président et chef de la direction Bruce McCuaig, who brought home $367,197.85 in 2016.

    Following Bruce McCuaig was Executive Vice President, Regional Express Rail / Premier vice-président, Service régional express James Purkis, with annual earnings of $279,136.96. Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary / Vice-présidente, chef du contentieux et secrétaire générale Mary Martin made $271,253.19, Executive Vice President - PRESTO / Premier vice-président – PRESTO Robert Hollis made $262,347.86, and Chief Capital Officer / Chef responsable des immobilisations John Jensen round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $261,288.11 for the Metrolinx 2017 Sunshine List.
